Japan: PSN goes retro with Square Enix
Many oldies due for re-release
Chit-chat online today, emerging from Japan, informs us that a raft of ancient PSone favourites will be re-released in the future by publisher Square Enix - on the PlayStation Network.
For the moment it looks like only Japan will be covered by this retro-spate, with the PSN revivals costing 600 Yen each (that's about 5.50 USD or 2.80 GBP, if you prefer).
The games mooted for re-release are Einhander, Astronoka, Rakugaki Showtime, Raystorm, Fighters Impact and Xenogears.
It seems unclear, though unlikely, that these titles will make it to the Western market - even via the PSN.
