Turok film plans revealed
Animated flick leads to live-action movie
Adam Bleach, a Native American actor, is set to star in a new adaptation of Turok bound for the silver-screen.
Bleach has already voiced the Dino-bating hunter in an animated interpretation of the long-running gaming series; and now he's going to resume the role in a full live-action flick.
The videogame emerged in the 90s, but the 'IP' has existed since the 1950s when the comic book first emerged.
"We just finished the animated movie and now we're going into the feature film movie [which should be made] hopefully in a couple years. We're about to set up meetings to develop a script and put it out there," Bleach revealed, speaking to MTV. "I'll have to beef up, and be a good guy, and save the world!"
"[Turok is] the first Native American superhero that I ever looked up to. He basically [comes from] a family where they're protecting our universe from an alternate universe that wants to take it over. He uses his wits, and his might, and his special bow and arrow to take over the world."
More Turok as we get it.
