Crytek, developers of the lavish title Crysis, have revealed today that there will not be a patch 1.3 for the game. This despite the clamours for another round of fixes.

However, tease us stating that the reason for this move will be confirmed in the "very, very near future". We're told instead to keep an eagle-eye out for the June Update.

Online chit-chat hints that this could be evidence that an expansion pack or sequel for Crysis is on the way - forumites mulling over the merits of the newly trademarked Crysis: Warhead.

Whatever Crytek's plans, we'll keep you posted as we learn more.
