Develop are today reporting that 15 game studios, in conjunction with trade bodies Tiga and ELSPA, are to launch a new pressure organisation, designed to lobby the British government to offer game makers tax breaks.

Called 'Games Up', the new campaign kicked-off over the weekend, and seems to be a British response to the tax breaks available in Canada's Quebec region, where a 37.5% break is on offer to developers.

Likewise, the state of Georgia is also offering a 20% tax refund, as well as a similar measure in place in France.

We'll bring you more on Games Up, and the government's response to it, as we get it.
