A new spring update for Live could be ushered in soon by the Big M, leaked reports of what the update will including mentioning support for some kind of "motion sensor devices". This comes despite exec going on the record today, denying that are plotting a new motion-based controller.

Kotaku cite a feature list purportedly leaked from within Microsoft, although it is worth noting that the platform maker have yet to confirm a new update is on the way, that said, June 6th ushered-in last year's enhancements.

There's lots of very minors bit and bobs in there, but more interesting is the ability to "donate" points to another Windows Live ID, additionally the "calibration options for motion sensor devices".

This could be related to the Vision Cam peripheral, already used for recognising cards in games like Eye of Judgment. Similarly, the newly announced Viva Pinata 2: Trouble in Paradise will also include a visual recognition element, using the cam. Beyond this, however, we're stumped.

More soon, we hope.
