Hanabi Festival hits VC
Three new titles explode onto the Wii
After the success of last year's retrograde releases during 'Hanabi' season, Nintendo have announced the Festival period is back, commencing with today's new PAL VC debutants on the Wii.
Timed to coincide with the Japanese fireworks festivities, we'll be getting three new titles: Gradius II Gofer No Yabou (Turbografx), Columns III: Revenge of Columns (Mega Drive) and Final Soldier (Turbografx).
The likes of Puyo Puyo 2 and Gley Lancer from Sega, as well as Star Parodier and Cho Aniki from Hudson Soft will be added in the coming weeks as Hanabi continues.
Columns is of course a puzzle game, released in 1994, while Gradius II is a scrolling shooter, which promises 'fast-paced music'. Both games will cost 900 Wii points. Final Soldier, meanwhile, is another space-based shooter though this time it'll cost 700 points.
More soon.
