EA take Sims to GBA (and GC)
New details
EA have let-slip a little further information about their Nintendo-pleasing GBA/GameCube incarnation of The Sims, subtitled 'Bustin' Out', which will be out this autumn. The game is developed by Maxis (Walnut Creek) and Griptonite Games, who have previously worked on EA projects such as the GBA conversions of Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings.
Of course, the new game will enable players to transport their Sims from the Cube onto the GBA, and will offer eight career choices, spanning twenty locales which lead from humble beginnings in a rural barn, to a luxurious mansion in finale. A new cast of thirty-plus characters will also star.
The GBA's link-up capabilities will allow Sims players to trade objects, and converse. There will be a large amount of cross-over between the two platforms, along with the obvious benefits this will have to progressing in the game. Ho-hum.
