GTA IV: Hard-drive issues, leaks, sales and porn

Rounded-up...

We've still seven days until the game is released, and yet the hype still seemingly finds a way of intensifying, hence why I've decided to bundle some of today's points of interest together in one place.

First things first, footage of the game has been leaked onto the web, three minutes and thirty-six seconds of in-game footage, now on GameTrailers.

The intro movie has also arrived on YouTube, and subsequently been pulled, in recent hours, while US porn actress Sasha Grey has said she would like to appear in GTA "strapped with two MP5K's and a black and grey skintight outfit".

I kid you not.

"F**k it, let's go all the way: they put Jenna in GTA VC, why not put me in the GTA universe somewhere?" she offered in dialogue with GiantRealm, also revealing the last game she bought was The Simpsons.

Then there's Sony's 400 Euro GTA IV-PS3 bundle, oh, and we'd better not omit the fact the 360 version has also been spied on torrent networks.

In more detailed news, Rockstar have urged Microsoft to address the issue of storage in the Xbox 360. Label boss Sam Houser said the lack of a mandatory hard-drive presented game makers with problems and it is an area MS should address.

"One of the problems with the 360, and it affects games like Grand Theft Auto if you think about how much content we put in the actual machine, is the fact that they don't have a significantly larger storage medium than the previous systems. It's a slightly bigger DVD disc," he told 1UP.

Moving on, UK retailer Asda (against their own predictions) says GTA is selling better on the PS3 than on the Xbox 360. The PS3 is apparently leading the 360 3:1.

"Both titles have generated great interest on the Asda website, with strong pre-orders, and the PS3 version is selling three times that of 360, which is surprising and not in line with what we'd expect," MCV were told.

At HMV, however, the 360 version is reported to be leading the way, though this could be because of the retailer's 1000 Microsoft Points special offer.

Last but not least, reports indicate that GTA IV will be released in Japan this year - we're just not sure when.
