EA confirm Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
New tie-in game revealed
Electronic Arts drop by today to confirm that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released later this year alongside Warner Bros. new flick. my my, what a surprise.
EA's Bright Light studio are developing and the game will be released on all the platforms. Literally, all of them.
The game promises to follow the plot of the sixth book, and will be intimately tied to the film by the sound of things (for better or worse).
Expect a polished entry firmly placed in the 'action-adventure' category here.
"We believe that the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game represents a milestone in the movie tie-in genre," offered studio boss Harvey Elliott. "Building on the technological advancements of previous games in the series and with a particular focus on the unique control system of Nintendo’s Wii, the team here is working closely with the filmmakers to create an immersive interactive experience that captures the story, the action, the excitement and, above all, the fun of the film."
