Realtime Worlds gets 50 million USD backing
More money for APB makers
Realtime Worlds, the developer of Crackdown fronted by the man credited with creating the Grand theft Auto series, has this week announced 50 million USD of new funding.
The deal will see Maverick Capital back the game maker, aided by Montgomery & Co; the advisers having previously brokered a deal which saw Club Penguin sold to Disney for a whopping 700 million USD.
Realtime Worlds will use the new injection of cash to polish-off All Points Bulletin, their eagerly awaited action MMO - set in an urban landscape rife with crime.
We'll bring you more on APB as it nears release.
