New Blu-ray online features and more
A new PS3 firmware update likely to arrive later this month (version 2.20, number-fanatics), will include a raft of long-awaited features, including the ability to copy music and photos between the PSP and the PS3, as well as Blu-ray Disc Profile 2.0.

Disc Profile 2.0, or BD-LIVE as it's apparently known, will add new features to films: downloadable content such as bonus scenes, trailers, sub-titles, ringtones, images, games et al. A late March release is mooted.
The update will also usher in photo and playlist copying between the PS3 and PSP, a 'resume play' option for discs removed mid-viewing, a new remote play setting allowing the PSP to be remote control for the PS3's music player, and a new AV setting: Mosquito Noise Reduction.
Video streaming and web page viewing will now be faster through the internet browser, and DivX and WMV files above 2GB will now also be supported.
More on this firmware update as we get it.
