Nintendo was also looking good in Japan, the Wii topping the latest Japanese hardware charts for the week just finished - the 'disruptive' console managing 57,000 sales. This just pipped the PSP's 54,000, the DS third on nearly 49,000.

The PS3 was comfortably off the pace with 21,000, beating the PS2's 10,000, the 360 miles behind still on less than 3,000.
