Today's service arrivals are Super R-Type and Operation Wolf, Ninty have this morning let slip.

R-Type is a SNES of hardcore pretensions, and while details are scant it sounds like this could be one for 'proper' fans of the ancient shooting genre. Should such people exist. The game will cost 800 Wii Points, as do other SNES revivals in fact.

Operation Wolf, on the other hand is even more retrograde, a NES release in fact (500 Wii Points), and it once again involves shooting. Only with even worse visuals, and even more 'old skool' kudos.

Both games are on the shop channel for downloading as of now.
