1942: Joint Strike hitting PSN and XBLA
Retrograde
A brand new "medium-sized" Capcom release is being readied for console download platforms, the Japanese firm hoping to deliver 1942: Joint Strike to the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.
Joint Strike is billed as a remake of arcade shooter "1942".
A top-down scrolling shooter is the soup of the day, a la 1942, accept this version is spruced via the use of 3D graphics and a new co-operative multiplayer mode.
Metal Gear music composer Norihiko Hibinio is responsible for the game's music.
As you progress in the game you'll get new weapons and enhance your aircraft, and there will be boss battles, strategic "joint strike attacks" and other such goodies.
The game will cost 800 Microsoft Points - or 9.99 USD on the PSN.
