Illusion Softworks recently confirmed that the the critically and commercially popular gangland crime 'em up Mafia, will now be heading to the PS2, and Cube before the end of the year.

The title will apparently be a direct port leaving almost everything that made the original entertaining intact. We do however hope this will be a 'good' quality port, as we often remember with horror some of the more rushed conversions of the past.
