With Leipzig's (final?) Games Convention expo planned for late August, we learn that Video Games Live will host a gaming concert in the same city, at the same time.

The Video Games Live Symphony Orchestra will play classic game tunes from the likes of Pac-Man, Tetris and Myst, and will be conducted by Jack Wall.

Scenes from related games will be shown on a giant video screen at the concert, which will also feature an "interactive game competition".

The concert will be held on the 20th of August at the Arena Leipzig, with tickets starting from 30 Euro. You can reserve your seat now via the official site.

VGL are also touring a number of other cities around the world, should you wish to hear tracks from your favourite games performed live.
