Cliff Beszinski, designer of Upcoming exclusive 2, has gone back on comments made recently about the state of the as a gaming format.

CliffyB had said that gaming on the PC was in "disarray", that "what's driving the PC right now is Sims-type games and WOW and a lot of stuff that's in a web-based interface."

He also said that were focussing on triple-A console releases with more potential. However, when asked recently by Multiplayer if the PC was back - he replied in a far more positive fashion: "Abso-frigging-lutely."

"I think everybody coming together in that kind of way will essentially kind of help re-glue things back together and kind of help fix the market," he added, referring to the recently formed PC Gaming Alliance.

"I have a big PC gaming heritage and I love playing games with a keyboard and a mouse, as well as a console, and I'd just love to see [a comeback]."
