Oculus Rift VR headset coming exclusively to Android mobile devices

No plans for iOS support

Oculus VR has announced that they will be bringing their new VR headset, Oculus Rift to mobile devices.

However the Oculus Rift will only be supported by Android-based smartphones and tablets with no plans for iOS support.

"We have some exciting plans on the mobile VR side as the PC VR side. We're really looking at hitting the consumer market. We're very excited about what we're seeing," said Oculus VR CEO Brendan Iribe. Oculus Rift VR headset coming exclusively to Android mobile devices

The consumer price for the Oculus Rift headset has not been announced yet but with the devkit costing just 300 USD it seems that the device will probably be very affordable when it arrives.
