The version of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures may be looming ever nearer now, but word from at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco reveals that the version remains a distant prospect.

The console version of the is apparently a year or so behind the PC outing, with a launch not likely until about 12 months following the arrival of the PC outing.

The PC title should land on May 20th.

Funcom's Gaute Godager also spoke of the suitability of the game's combat system being ideal for the 360, and also that the console version is likely to boast new content over the PC original.
