Cult hit The Princess Bride is to be made into a new game, according to publisher Worldwide Biggies, who were clearly students during that 'golden age'.

The Princess Bride Game is being developed for the PC, and should be released this summer in time to enchant us once again with its bizarre mix of fairy-tale fun. Classic scenes from the film will be recreated, players assuming the roles of various heroines and heroes in the process.

You can order the game and we're hopeful of a few classic lines into the bargain.

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die."

Now, all we need are games based around 'Withnail and I' and 'Footloose', and my renaissance will be complete...
