120GB PS3 mooted by GameStop, slimline model spied?

In the meantime, Sony will release a new 120GB model, complete with a Dual Shock 3 controller as previously hinted. No release dates or prices have been offered, but news later this month at the Game Developers Conference is entirely possible if all this gossip proves true.
Sony are stating "no comment" stateside, with the European division denying all knowledge of a 120GB model.
In more fanciful PS3 related news, CVG are citing a T3 report which purports to confirm the existence of a "Slim & Lite" PlayStation 3. According to the gadget mag, the new console will be slimmer and, yes, lighter, and will follow in the tradition of the PSone, PStwo, et al.
Idle gossip suggests that this new console might even be the 120GB or 160GB models hinted in various chatter of the past, but this is of course all conjecture at present.
More on all this as we get it.
