Rock Band official on Wii, Euro release after April
Good and bad news...
Rock Band is indeed on the way to the Wii console, as we revealed correctly (smug grin) earlier this very week.
Chatting to suited-types in a conference call today, EA's John Riccitiello confirmed that the game will be released on all the expected formats, in Europe, sometime after the beginning of the publisher's new financial year - in April.
Rock Band was originally expected in Europe in early 2008, having been released in North America at the end of 2007. Hmph.
"One of the things I'm very proud of is the partnership between Electronic Arts and MTV," beamed the top dog. "What's probably the most interesting piece right now is the coming launch on the Wii, the continued sale of the core platforms in North America and then the fiscal '09 launch across Europe against all of the SKU."
