Silent Hill Origins set for PS2
PSP title ported
A port of PSP hit Silent Hill Origins looks set for the PS2, after the port, box art and all, was spied on an online retailer. The success of the game, both critically and commercially on the handheld appears to have persuaded Konami to undertake the move, although details remain scant.

Amazon list the game as a March release, which is remarkably soon, while online gossip hints that developer Climax could be in charge of the port. The PSP release was of course a continuation of the long-running Silent Hill series.
The box shot appears to confirm that the game is genuine, while Amazon count among the online retailers less likely to make a gaff of this variety. The PS2 certainly doesn't show any signs of flagging, then, despite Sony finally beginning to shift sizable quantities of the PS3.
Silent Hill V is also in development for the Xbox 360 and PS3, presently.
