If last week's Donkey Kong Country 3 release on the Wii's service wasn't enough to get your retro-gland tingling, then perhaps today's fresh addition in the form of Harvest Moon from the SNES will do the trick.

Harvest Moon can be yours for 800 points, and sees you starting out as a small local farmer with crop-empire aspirations. You'll be growing stuff, and acquiring animals for milk and sale, as well as indulging in a few low-key elements to boot.

Harvest Moon was of course fairly influential back in the day, and this is one of the more significant additions to the PAL VC service.

More soon.
