Far Cry 2 set for Xbox 360 and PS3
Ubisoft confirm new platforms
Ubisoft have been busy this week, first confirming delays to a number of big-name releases including Far Cry 2, and now revealing that the aforementioned sequel will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3, as well as the previously confirmed PC.
The game is due out later in 2008, and takes the Far Cry setting off to Africa, where we will once again be treated to some stunning visuals, breathtaking panoramas, and, yes, more hang-gliders.
A March or April release is mooted, although doubt still surrounds the publisher's ability to deliver the title this soon, especially with the new platforms Ubi have now confirmed. Both 360 and PS3 versions of the game promise to be full renditions of the PC version, though hopefully Ubisoft will do a spot of tweaking to adjust for the different platforms' various nuances.
More on Far Cry 2 soon.
