Call of Duty 5 hinted
Activision sequels planned
Activision Blizzard, the new publisher created by a merger between Activision, Blizzard and VU Games, which is set to be concluded by mid-2008, have more than a few new games in the pipeline based on existing franchises (we're this morning told).
According to a report released alongside the merger news, Activision Blizzard will be releasing a few big name sequels in the future, promising new games from three of 2007's biggest titles. Call of Duty 5, Guitar Hero 4 and a new Tony Hawk's game look likely to be the sequels hinted, although details are vague, to say the least.
As we already knew, the report re-confirms that games based on Dreamworks properties, a new Marvel-based title, as well as a racer from PGR creators Bizarre are also in the pipeline.
We'll keep our eye on Activision Blizzard in search of more details on any of the new games hinted.
