Geometry Wars: Galaxies slips to 2008
Bizarre Creations' Geometry Wars: Galaxies, which was set for release on the Wii and DS prior to the festive period, has now slunk off into the shadows of 2008, the Xbox-spawned puzzle-shooter now set to arrive on January 18th.
The delay to Bizarre's vastly expanded Xbox Live Arcade title will at least give the game a little more breathing space, with Christmas likely to be dominated by a few huge releases. The slippage was confirmed by publisher Sierra.
"The Geometry Wars: Galaxies videogame for both the Nintendo Wii and DS accelerates to warp speed with masses of enemies, more than 60 planets, bigger power-ups and a brand new Battle Drone to help players tear through the campaign mode. Also, for the first time ever, Geometry Wars will let players battle across a variety of planets in multiplayer mode," beam Sierra on the topic of this forthcoming release.
