PAL VC gets Mario Bros. 3
Three new titles now online
What America got on Monday so Europe can enjoy from today, with Super Mario Bros. 3 arriving on the Virtual Console service as this week's star attraction. The new Wii downloadable is billed as a Nintendo classic of epic proportions, and is said to be one of the best NES games of all time.
Because the game is from the NES, the good news is that you can download this slice of gaming history for 500 Wii points, which isn't bad, really. Elsewhere and Nintendo offer a couple of other new titles for the PAL VC, in the shape of Blue's Journey, a 1990 NeoGeo game which can be yours for 900 points and features colourful platforming of the decidedly innocent variety.
Then there's Power Golf from 1989, a TurboGrafx-16 game which can be yours for 600 Wii Points. No explanations needed there, we'd imagine.
