MTV detail Rock Band DLC plans

MTV have revealed their plans for Rock Band's downloadable content offerings, confirming that players of Harmonix's new rhythm-action opus will be able to download individual songs from artist packs without having to take the whole pack.
Prices, on the other hand, remain iffy, with little word on how much individual tracks or artist packs are likely to cost. A list of downloadable albums and packs released online has however been confirmed as official by MTV.

- Queens of the Stone Age: 3s and 7s, Sick Sick Sick, Little Sister (masters)
- Metallica: Three-to-six song pack, no songs announced (TBA)
- Black Sabbath: N.I.B, Sweet Leaf, War Pigs (covers)
- David Bowie: Moonage Daydream, Heroes, Queen Bitch (TBA)
- Punk Pack: The Buzzcocks' "Ever Fallen in Love," (cover) The Clash' "I Fought the Law," (master) The Ramones' "Rockaway Beach" (master)
