Nintendo has kept the retro fires burning this week by throwing three more pages of gaming history into the blaze.

First up we have a NeoGeo from 1992, World Heroes. For anyone who can’t remember this game saw a time machine bring together a collection of fighters loosely based on historical characters for a no holds barred Street Fighter'esq tournament. This often overlooked beat-em-up classic can be yours for the princely sum of 900 points (GBP 6.30 / EUR 9).

Second through the door we have Gate of Thunder originally for the TurboGrafx-16. This side-scrolling was considered one of the better games to appear on its parent platform and sees you try to stop the evil General Don Jungi from stealing the Starlight power source from the planet Aries. This nugget of TurboGrafx-16 history will cost you 800 points (GBP 5.60 / EUR 8) which appears to be two hundred more than normal for some reason.

Last but by no means least comes the SNES game II: Simon's Quest. The now familiar quest to destroy the villainous Count Dracula was bolstered in this release by the addition of upgradeable weapons and abilities giving it a certain amount of style appeal. Anyone wanting to battle the forces of darkness will have to pay 500 (GBP 3.50 / EUR 5) for the privilege.
