Ninja Gaiden continues Hanabi downloads on Wii
Enter week two
As we enter the second week of 'Hanabi Festival' download fun on the European Wii Virtual Console service, Nintendo have released a second batch of games for us all to enjoy. Leading the second wave of Hanabi offerings is an English language version of NES classic Ninja Gaiden.
Tecmo's seminal beat 'em up has been available on the Wii Shop channel since Friday, and is joined by another Japanese success story, JaJaMaru-Kun from the Famicom. The third title up for grabs is World Class Baseball, this time making its way from the TurboGrafx-16.
Next week, the final week of Nintendo's Hanabi offerings, we'll be getting Gradius III and the much-desired Sin and Punishment.
Hanabi is a period of firework festivals and frolics in Japan, with companies and local government putting on lavish displays that mark the passing of the summer.
