Outspoken gaming activist lawyer Jack Thompson believes may have included a representation of himself in upcoming and release IV. The lawyer, so often the nemesis of Rockstar's violent game releases, sees himself as the 2nd amendment lawyer featured in the game.

He believes that the lawyer character is included to mock him and his crusade to halt the sale of violent games to minors in the USA, telling the media that if the representation is not excluded from the game then he will mount a to try and block the title from sale.

GamePolitics explains the situation thusly: "The showcasing play of the game to Game Informer revealed that the first killing mission of the hero of the game, Niko, is to kill a certain lawyer. When Niko comes into this lawyer's office, having used subterfuge to do so, Niko pulls a gun on the lawyer who says, that the firm supports the second amendment and that 'Guns don't kill people. Video games do."
