Despite the frenzy that was Games Convention 2007, the Big N still managed to find time last Friday to launch a trio of new PAL region offerings for Wii.

Leading the latest charge is hit Wrecking Crew from the days of the NES, an 80s favourite which sees you steering Mario through a range of increasingly tricky levels, overcoming obstacles and negotiating traps. You can even design your own fiendish obstacle courses.

Next up is Lunar Pool from 1991, again a hit on the NES, which is a sort-of futuristic pool title, sporting odd-shaped tables, ball arrangements and ker-razy players to tackle.

Last up is not another side-scrolling from the TurboGrafx-16, in fact, its an with twists of thrown in. And, yes, there's a princess to save, items to gather and treasure to be found. Neutopia's the name - and it has in the past drawn comparisons with Zelda. So there.

The NES games cost 500 points apiece, while the TG-16 offering will cost 600 points. More soon.
