The special edition Halo-themed console has been priced and dated for a debut, today announcing that the system will launch on September 26th costing 280 GBP.

The system, as you may already have spotted, comes in gold and green, includes an HDMI port, a 20gb hard disk, and a few other nice little extras Microsoft will be hoping to tempt gamers with, such as a wireless controller, a wired headset, 3 theme and gamer pictures, cables, a Play & Charge Kit and a month's Gold access to Live.

This news comes in the wake of recent price cutting from Microsoft, who are also planning to release the Elite model 360 in soon.

More news from us soon, Spiderpigs.
