Okamoto's Game Republic working on new PSN titles
Exclusive news on Sony's latest PSN recruit
Speaking to Game Republic about Irish mythology based action-adventure Folklore today, we learn that the intriguing murder-mystery action game is not the only product the Japanese developer is crafting exclusively for Sony.
Prompting a cringe from our friendly Sony PR man, legendary game designer Yoshiko Okamoto, accompanied by Bill Ritch, revealed exclusively that Game Republic is even now working on "a couple" of new, unannounced PSN releases.
Given that the Genji and Folklore creators weren't even supposed to announce the new games yet, we weren't offered any further details, but given Okamoto-san's pedigree (Resident Evil and Street Fighter, to name but two franchises in an extensive list) this must surely be good news for the PSN - especially in Japan - where Okamoto's name is legendary.
Folklore, meanwhile is due out in November, while Game Republic are also working on Genji 2. More on this as we get it.
