Sega to debut Viking game in Leipzig?
GameStop listing hints at new game
With the Games Convention in Leipzig less than a week away now, rumours are beginning to circle about which new titles will debut at the German games expo. One of the more tangible pieces of gossip presently doing the rounds is that Sega with lift the lid on Viking: Battle of Asgard at the show.
Viking first turned-up on the US retail site of GameStop, said title apparently en route from Sega to the PS3 and Xbox 360. While there's no official word on the game, we hear that Sega-owned Creative Assembly are readying a new title for unveiling at Leipzig, with some pundits speculating that this will be that debutant.
The game has been mooted for release in early 2008, though GameStop have now pulled the plug on the product page leaving us with only online chitter-chatter to go on. Regardless, all will no doubt be revealed next week.
