Fans of old school titles rejoice, four new releases hit the Wii's service in PAL regions today, with Shinobi III, Dynamite Headdy, Shining Force and Drop Off now available to titillate all your retrograde needs.

Shinobi III is of course from the Megadrive, and sees players assuming the role of Joe Musashi on a mission to knock the socks off crime syndicate Neo Zeed. Next up is Treasure-developed Dynamite Headdy, released on the VC earlier this week, players will be using their puppet-style head to fight off the baddies across several theatre-like stages in a bid to outgun the evil puppet king.

More Megadrive next, 1992 hit Shining Force, an set in the ancient land of Rune. As per usual players will be tasked with restoring peace to a troubled world, using the powers of light against the Lord of Darkness. Last up is Drop Off from the TurboGrafx-16, which will see players rearranging colourful blocks in an attempt to save the lovely Princess Azumi.

The TG-16 release will set you back 600 points, while the Megadrive revivals come in at 800 points each. More soon.
