In a spot of over-excited PR this week, we receive word of forthcoming 'They', which will be unveiled at Games Convention 2007 in Leipzig, but which for now remains something of a mystery; we know the game, but we don't who is making or publishing it.

Naturally, the PR agency promoting They reckon it could be the surprise package of the European games show, and might even bag a few 'best of show' once shown to the press behind closed doors. So, what do we know? Well, we're told the game is a first-person shooter incorporating some super-natural elements, a bit like The Darkness. We're also informed the publisher are European and have been around for about 10 years.

They will lead on PC, and we hear the developer have created several games already. A deep sci-fi plotline is on the cards, as is a visually stunning affair using an in-house engine to create unique and interactive environments.

More on They at Leipzig come late August.
