Nirvana's 'Nevermind' set for Rock Band DLC
New content hinted
Nirvana's celebrated 'Nevermind' album will be one of the first albums offered as downloadable content for EA's forthcoming Rock Band, which promises to deliver whole albums worth of new tracks via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
Gaming site Joystiq reveal the new album's inclusion, adding that we can expect one new album to launch online every week post-release. An advisory panel including industry luminaries will help select new content for Harmonix's opus, which will see players taking on a whole band - rather than just the guitar fret-work.
The Who's 'Who's Next' album is said to be the first album in-bound in DLC form, and with Rock Band being backed by heavyweights EA and of course MTV who'd bank against it being a hit with rhythm-music fans?
A release this Christmas on Xbox 360 and PS3 will reveal all.
