Nitrobike and Dragon Ball Z take Wii online
New Wii titles boast online abilities
With online-enabled Wii games still as rare as an original IP from EA, we today learn that Pokemon Battle Revolution will be getting a little company in the online stakes. This is thanks to Ubisoft, who have revealed plans to launch Nitrobike online, later this year.
An arcade-style racer of the 'old skool' variety, Ubisoft are promising a release in time for the festive season, complete with full online play. The game sees players racing around on rocket-powered bikes, and will feature a singleplayer mode as well as online multiplayer fun.
Left Field Productions are behind the new racer, having crafted Excitebike 64 and most recently MTX Mototrax.
In further Wii-online related news today, we learn that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will also offer net play, when the Atari game is released on the Wii this winter.
More soon.
