Big N date Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros.
Merry Christmas...
More fresh details in from Ninty who's E3 press briefing has just concluded. The platform holder revealed during their event that Super Mario Galaxy will be released on November 12th.
The title is billed as the follow-up to the acclaimed Super Mario Sunshine, a hit back in 2001. Needless to say the title has been on the works for some time. Gamers may know the project as Mario 128, in some quarters.
While the date covers North America it is presently unclear whether the title will also hit PAL regions (including Europe and Australia) come November, with Nintendo frequently forcing non-NTSC gamers to wait a tad longer for new releases.
Nintendo also took the opportunity to announce that Super Smash Bros. will be out on December 3rd in North America, once again we'll try and fathom whether this covers PAL regions.
More soon.
