More major news (will it never cease?): confirm that Viva Pinata and are on the way to Windows PCs. Epic's takes to the stage, and we're told to expect a full co-op mode in Gears on the PC, all using the Games for Windows - Live service.

Five new singleplayer chapters will be included, as well as an enhanced mode including new arenas and fresh achievements. 'CliffyB' moots a launch this for Gears on the PC, having demonstrated the title to a suitably impressed crowd.

New Games for Windows - Live titles are promised from Sega, and - with more than twelve games en route this very year. The multiplayer service will also now come as part of the Unreal Engine 3 middleware, which is fairly major news we'd add.
