Legendary: The Box confirmed by GameCock
Spark Unlimited FPS sighted
The irrepressible GameCock have today revealed yet another new addition to their burgeoning publishing portfolio, confirming a new first-person shooter being developed by Spark Unlimited. Spark's new action title is called Legendary: The Box, and is presently scheduled for a release in spring 2008 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
The game sees art thief Charles Deckard accidentally stealing Pandora's Box in a New York heist, the master-criminal unwittingly letting all manner of hideous beasts, werewolves and gryphons into an unsuspecting world. Deckard, inevitably, must now try to save humanity by getting all the naughty devils back in the box. No small task.
"Like most developers, we've always had a dream game that we've secretly been working on. We've made a name for ourselves with World War II first-person shooters, but Legendary: The Box is our labour of love," commented Spark Unlimited's CEO Craig Allen.
Spark previously crafted Call of Duty: Finest Hour, and is primarily founded by ex-Medal of Honor developers. More soon.
