Yoshi leads update to US VC
Two NES, one TG-16 title land
Three more games have been launched onto the US Virtual Console service today, with puzzle-action title Yoshi leading the latest retrograde charge. The NES classic sees you catching a ranging of colourful creatures from the air, as you do so lining up eggshells all the while the action getting faster-and-faster. The game will cost you 500 Wii points.
TurboGrax-16 hit Air Zonk is next onto the VC, sporting a cyberpunk theme and the inevitable side-scrolling shooter gameplay - the title having been inspired by the Bonk's Adventure series. The premise sees Team Cool trying to stop King Drool from taking over the world, and, as you might have guessed, doesn't take itself too seriously. This fresh offering will set you back 600 Wii points.
Mach Rider is next onto the US VC, also arriving from the days of the NES at 500 points. The title takes place in the year 2112, and planet Earth has been invaded by evil forces known as Quadrunners. You'll be racing around on a kind of futuristic motorbike, battling the aliens and looking for survivors.
More VC news soon.
